Pretty Little Studio - Howdy Partner

I'm sharing a fun birthday card featuring Pretty Little Studio products for your favorite buckaroo today! This is William! He brings back memories of playing Cowboys and Indians with my siblings. It was a lonely day when my brother's only available companions were his three sisters. The cowboy (my brother) always got the shiny chrome gun and the cool hat, but the girls got feathers!! LOL!! We were very imaginative and able to make impromptu additions to our costumes using whatever we could find - usually a spray of leaves instead of real feathers, and sticks for arrows.
I layered the die cut on a bookmark card. I love their flag shape, graph paper backgrounds, and all the different colors they come in. If you look close you'll see a little flag peeking out the top right corner.. that's a noteflag. I wanted to repeat the pattern and color of the bookmark card. The background paper (woodgrain and confetti) is called "Ship Deck Crumbles" from the Treasure Island Collection.
I added some twine wrapped around the card cover - a cowboy needs a bit of rope right? And a little wood veneer star.
Have a rootin' tootin' awesome day!

Adorable birthday card! Reminds me of my brother when he was little, always dressed up like a cowboy!
