Never Give Up!

I hope you're having a great day! I'm sharing a bright bold card made with the Pretty Little Studio Good Vibrations Collection.

This collection is appropriately named Good Vibrations because it is all about positivity and sending inspirational messages. I love the rainbow papers and clever mixed color fonts. It's like sunshine on paper!

I used a frame to create a focal point for my message to never give up. I had fun embellishing the frame with flowers and a little tag that I topped with a labelmaker type sentiment sticker.

The finishing touch is a sprinkle of black sequins for a little sparkle and some drama. They're a great contrast to all the color in the design.

Life Is Better At The Beach

Today I'm playing at Inspiration Station where this time they want you to dive on in with this tropical photo inspiration.

With August just around the corner I'm starting to feel summer coming to an end and I haven't made it to the beach yet. I'll try harder to make that happen but for today I'll make my own beach in my craft room.

My background scene is created with soft blue cardstock topped with sandy waves cut with the Waffle Flower Wavy Borders. I inked in some spots with alcohol markers and then stamped the sentiment directly on the background. 

Beach umbrellas are inked in rainbow colors. The Beach Umbrella Die N Stencil set includes a stencil, but I used post it notes to mask off each color and then ink it with Distress Ink.

I love the bright rainbow colors! I added little white enamel dots in the center of each umbrella to add a little shine.

The finishing touch is a scatter of little seashells in bright colors because I can't go to the beach without picking up shells, glass or pretty rocks to put in my pocket.

Postage Collage North Pole

Today I'm playing at Jingle Belles Rock Challenge where this time it's "Dashing Through The Snow!" I thought these cute snowmen from Waffle Flower would be perfect.

I love the postage series from Waffle Flower. They have lots of different sheet stamp configurations, stencils and themes to choose from.

There's even different postage denominations and cancel stamps available for different occasions including USA and Euro.

I like non traditional colors and thought these pink and purple shades are just yummy! They remind me of advent candles and retro designs.

I used the Postage Collage Coloring Stencil to add a striped background for an "air mail" look to my design.

Sketched Poinsettia

Today I'm playing along at Daring Cardmakers Challenge where it's Christmas in July! I love the Sketched Flower Series from Waffle Flower and the new Poinsettia is absolutely GORGEOUS!

I love that the flowers in the series come together quick and easy.. just stamp, ink with the coordinating stencil and cut with the coordinating die cut.

I used the Oversized Postage die to create a focal point for that pretty bloom. I'd been curious about the Lindys Gang Magical Powders for a while and had fun making this watercolor background in green.

A simple sentiment and a few clear enamel dots to look like des drops finish the design.
