Fruity Cake

Can you believe it's Monday already? Where did the weekend go? I hope your week is off to a good start!

 

Today I'm playing along at Cupcake Inspirations where this time they want us to go tropical with our birthday designs. I could use a sweet escape!

Can you believe that there are some people that don't really like cake? That certainly DOES NOT include me (as my waistline can attest), but I can appreciate some people want a healthier sweet alternative.

The images on my card are from the Waffle Flower Fruit Cake stamp set! I love all the different accessory pieces in this set that allow you to choose the cake toppings.

Sweet little bears and mice are the bakers who are serving up this special birthday treat! There's even little forks and cake knives.

My background is a gold hot foil splatter that I inked with soft distress ink colors. I cut the panel with a stitched rectangle from the A2 Lacy Layers die set.
