Waffle Flower Poinsettia Seasons Greetings

It's Christmas in July at the Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge and I'm playing along with these beautiful Poinsettias from Waffle Flower Crafts!
My card starts with a Distress Oxide inked panel in Spun Sugar, Candied Apple and Barn Door, topped with a Lattice Panel Background die cut.
I created a hexagon shaped frame by cutting two of the new Nesting Hexagons at the same time. I cut another hexagon to stamp my sentiment on. I inked it in aqua ink to match the accent berries in the poinsettias foliage.
The beautiful poinsettias are colored with Copic Markers. Instead of blending the leaves I like to ink each petal in a different shade of the same color family. It gives a modern stained glass look to the design.
A few JJ's Rainbow enamel dots are the only bit of bling required. I like that they really bring out the aqua in the design.
It's nice to take a break from the heat of this hot Summer day to make! Have a great day!
