Waltzingmouse Stamps September Blog Hop - Got Treats?

Are you Waltzing?  On the 17th of every month Waltzingmouse Stamps hosts a Blog Waltz.  The theme this month is ..... you guessed it.... HALLOWEEN!  This is one of my favorite times of year here in the midwest - time to open the windows after the hot summer - and enjoy the fresh air!  A trip to the pumpkin patch and a hay ride make the season complete.  There is so much color from the leaves, mums, and colorful gourds that the change of season is welcome.
I wanted to do something extra special for the waltz so I made these two sweet treat bags!  If you want to avoid scary tricks you have to supply the treats right?  The pattern I used is a freebie design courtesy of Claire at Waltzingmouse.  You can download the digital template at http://www.waltzingmousestamps.com/products/freebie-tea-bag-baggie.  It's a great design and I've used it more than a few times now.  Give it a try - it's easy to assemble and lots of fun to decorate!
I had fun coloring this one.  I'm still building my Copic collection and since there hasn't been a workshop in my area in a while I'm still learning as I go - watching UTube video's and practicing.  The ribbon bow behind Gracie and Cicely are made of the seam binding I'm always raving about, and were made on a loom my husband made for me.  The loom is simply a series of pegs in a circle - you wrap your ribbon around the pegs and secure the bow in the middle with a brad.  I've seen similar looms at craft stores in the yarn/knitting area.

I hope you are waltzing today and that your Halloween is all treats!

That Tea Baggie is masquerading! I was wondering what new template Claire came out with for Halloween! LOVE how you used it here, and your Copic coloring is fantastic! I took the class, and am slowly getting colors here and there, but YOU totally look like a pro! The embellishments on these are deee-vine, Jeanne!
