You Are The Best

Did you know that Poppystamps has a monthly challenge? It's a great way to play along with fellow crafters, show off your style and get ideas for different ways to use your Poppystamps craft dies and stamps.

This month's challenge is all about the boys! We're looking for projects made for the special guy in your life. Maybe it's your hubby, son or best friend! My card starts with a Distress Ink Panel. It's got Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade and Twisted Citron blended left to right. Next I cut the Soaring Tree Frame from two shades of blue cardstock, and the Tall Skyline Tree Frame from two shades of green cardstock.

I stacked the tree frames so each has a green and a blue panel, and alternated which die went on top. I love how they both have a pretty pierced border so they both are beautiful cover dies. Assembling the two frames together makes a perfect background for an A2 size card.

I love the depth the stacked trees create giving you the feeling of being in a forest. I took the "You" from the Thank You Poe Script to create a sentiment. Paired with a gold foil Modest Greetings 2 sentiment strip the message is clear.
