I'm typically drawn to the inspiration photo.. this time I spy lots of colorful plates topped with pretty confections. You can spin this into a project featuring sweets, plates and cups, rainbow colors.. or if you're not loving the photo you can play along with the sketch. If you're really clever you can FUSE them together and mix elements of the sketch and inspiration photo.
I saw all those sweets and thought of CAKE of course. This is the new Poppystamps Floral Cake Pop Up Easel die. This is a more expensive die set, but it's got LOTS of dies. It includes the cake shaped easel die of course, but you can use the cake, florals, leaves and candles separately if you like too.
I cut the candle from white cardstock and colored the flame with Copic markers. Inside the card I added a gold hot foil sentiment and a few bitty florals leaving room for a note and a signature.
Here you can see how the card stands by itself - perfect for display from the proud recipient!
This card fits in a 4.25 x 5.5" without the candle on top. The candle on my card is removable and can be tucked behind the flower on top.
