Countdown to Confetti Day 2 Beautiful Balloons & Have Your Cake

It's Day 2 in the Countdown to Confetti! We're showing peeks May 4-7 until the new goodies are available in the shop on May 8 when we'll celebrate with a blog hop! Today we're sharing two more new sets.. Beautiful Balloons and Have Your Cake!

The Beautiful Balloons is a set of two balloons and a floral with a few beautiful script sentiments.  I love the curly strings for the balloons that are also part of the set.

Since it's a part going on I wanted to add LOTS of color! My background is the Split Circles Cover Plate. I created a window by cutting a circle in the panel. Next I added strips of colorful cardstock behind the panel. I like that you can see the stripes inside the open window that would also double as a sweet shaker!

I used a Inside Scallop Circle Tag to give the die cut circle opening a finished look. I simply cut off the tag tab and hid the rough cut edge under the pretty floral.

A few sequins for some sparkle and shine is always welcome.

Meet the new Have Your Cake stamp set! It's a sweet layer cake that you can stack as high as you like. There are sprinkles and dripping icing, a bow, candles and florals as well as a bitty banner so you can personalize and decorate the cake as you like. 

My little cake is sitting on a panel that I inked with distress ink in colors to coordinate with the candles and florals. The panel is stamped with the new Hooray stamp set. This stamp set is a FREEBIE that you will receive with a qualifying purchase this month!

The words are all separate stamps.. I decided to use double sided tape and adhere the entire panel inside my Misti stamping tool so all the sentiments are aligned exactly as they are in their packaging.

I adhered the cake with adhesive foam tape for a little dimension. I love all the little details that make this one very special cake!!
