Reverse Confetti February Blog Hop

Well hello there Reverse Confetti Friends! It's the 8th of the month and you know what that means! It's time for our monthly blog hop! If you're following along you should have reached me from Kathy Schweinfurth's blog. I made a panel of Reverse Confetti card stock colors by adhering stripes on their reverse side with tape. I die cut the panel with a Pierced Round Top Layer die, and then a second time with the Hearts CC.

I adhered clouds from Over the Rainbow and a cute kitty being lifted up, UP, and AWAY from the Heart Pals stamp set. A Hang Ups tag hanger is the perfect finishing touch.

We all love to shower the ones we love with little gifts all year round, but Valentine's Day is a perfect excuse to indulge! 

I created a pocket card that holds a warm surprise! The panel on the front is actually Scallop Bag die cut with the Hearts peek a boo panel. I layered clear acetate on the reverse of the panel and adhesive in a U shape to make it easy to slide the gift card inside. 

A little trim of linked hearts double cut in Salsa and gold make a bold stand out against the Sweet as Sugar papers.

The gift card is adhered to a Dashed Line Tag. I threaded some gold twine through the eyelet so one tug and the card is revealed. 

The cute critters and sentiment are from the same stamp set - Heart Pals. I know this one is sure to bring a smile- even BEFORE they see the gift card tucked inside!
