My Creative Scrapbook August Kit

Are you looking for a nice way to treat yourself? How about trying a subscription to the My Creative Scrapbook Main Kit of the Month? They select the pattern paper and lots of coordinating supplies and deliver it straight to your front door so all you have to focus on is MAKING! Every month they have several kits to choose from.. their Main Kit, LE - Limited Edition, Creative Kit and Album Kit - so you can choose what's right for you!

Here's a peek at the August Kit! It's got pretty papers from Simple Stories "Safe Travels" Collection, die cut printed images, foam stickers, twine, a sticker alphabet and lots more!! This collection is a great way to memorialize your Summer Vacation with journaling pages, or for sending notes to your fellow travelers with cards like mine.

The kit includes everything you see on my cards except for the card bases and adhesives that hold them all together.

I love how all the images are perfectly coordinated so you know the colors are going to match and the proportion of the images is just right.

Are you feeling the road calling yet? Lol! We usually travel by car because I like being able to stop wherever I like. I'm drawn to the bill boards and yes! I will stop at Rock City and I do want to see the House of Cheese in Wisconsin! LOL!

The images in the kit take you from the beach, to the forest. Your transportation is covered too because you'll find suitcases, cars, airplanes, and campers!

One of the best perks of this club kit is the ideas you'll get for making with your kit. My Creative Scrapbook has a complete design team with varied styles to inspire you. If you're looking for ideas after you receive the kit.. there's an entire gallery of project ideas on the My Creative Scrapbook website so you'll always be inspired! I made 6 cards with this kit and you'll find the projects posted in their gallery!

Frosty Christmas Thank You

If there is ever a time to express appreciation it's at Christmas Time. The holidays make our hearts lighter and more thoughtful of the people whose life's intertwine with our own - the people who help make our lives easier and more enjoyable and fill our hearts with love.

My card today is made with the new Pretty Little Studio Frosty Collection. It's a celebration of winter and as it's name implies.. you'll find more than a few snowmen and snowflakes throughout.

I like to use journaling cards and tags to create a focal point. In this case I added a striped card and topped it with a Snow Friends Snowman with his woodland friends.

I embellished the journaling card with scallop borders, a tab, and a flag topped with a sentiment. I love the mix of plaid, dots, scallops and woodgrain.

It's never too early to get a jump on your holiday cards! There are lots of different collections available and you're sure to find one that you adore!

To The Moon and Back

Have you ever wished upon a star? Sometimes I look up at the night sky and wish someone I love is looking up at the same stars at the same time as me! It makes me feel like we're not so many miles apart.

Today I'm sending some love from above with The Bear Up There! It's cuteness overload and just has to make you smile!

The set includes three adorable bears floating up, up, and away to send some love to your special someone! It's not just a happy hello, I think this would make a fabulous birthday card or a sweet welcome to a new little one in your life.

I layered the sweet bears on a distress ink background of clouds using a border die cut as a mask. You could also stamp a background of clouds or how about using some pattern paper? Whatever your choice you can't go wrong!

I'm linking up at Cupcake Inspirations!  I love the clouds and the rainbow colors on these cute airplane cupcakes!

Have a fabulous day and remember the sky is the limit when it comes to your creativity!
