Pretty Little Studio Birthday Shaker

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you're having a great day! Today I'm sharing a shaker card made with the Pretty Little Studio Chasing the Sun Collection

Shakers are easy to make when you use a pre made frame die cut like this one from the Fly A Kite pack. Just add a clear sheet of plastic to the back of the frame, and then some adhesive foam tape. Pour some sequins inside and then add some pretty pattern paper to seal the sparklies inside! 

I adhered the sealed shaker over a panel of mixed papers and a 4" Cambridge Doily. The lacy edges look so soft and feminine with the florals. 

I embellished the frame with some beautiful florals and a simple sentiment. I added a few more sequins to look like they spilled out of the shaker.

Pink Paislee 5th & Monaco Floral Hello

Do you love pattern paper? You KNOW I DO!!! Well.. if you're like me I found the perfect challenge for you! It's called Craftyhazelnut's Pattern Paper Challenge. It's a new one for me and WOW! It's a busy place. Today I see 353 projects linked up!! 

I think lots of us purchase pattern paper because it's so hard to resist and then find it difficult to integrate into our projects. That's why I like seeing the challenge with so many projects linked up. What a great place to get some ideas!

I've started purchasing the printed die cut pieces when I buy paper because they're perfectly color matched to the papers I love. The Pink Paislee 5th & Monaco collection is beautiful with bold colors and tropical images!

Thanks for stopping by! Today I'm sharing an underwater scene for the challenge at Crafting Happiness! This time it's "Anything Goes - Under The Sea Optional".

I colored lots of cute images from the Waffle Flower Sea Birthday stamp set. I inked them with Momenta Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers.

I arranged them on a Distress Ink background panel. I had lots of fun arranging the images on a clear sheet before adhering them in place. The stamp set includes lots of accessories like the sea weed and vegetation in the scene. 

A sprinkle of sparkling clear sequins are bubbles coming up from Mr. Turtle's scuba gear!

The sentiment from the Under The Sea stamp set is stamped directly on the panel so there's nothing covered up!
