Pretty Little Studio Fresh Floral

Hi friends! I hope you're having a great day! Today I'm sharing a card made with the Pretty Little Studio Ginger Snap Collection! This collection is intended for fall but I think it's beautiful wildflowers and color scheme is ideal for any time of year.

My cards starts with a half and half pattern paper background topped with a striped journaling card. I added a circle shaped journaling tag to create a focal point for the florals.

Now for some embellishing! I added some faux stitches along the bottom edge of the card with a sentiment sticker.

A ric rac die cut border in black adds lots of striking contrast to the design. And a few bumble bees are adhered with adhesive foam tape to add dimension.

The images from this collection speak to the nature lover in my soul. I appreciate the beauty in the every day, the discovery of a leaf, flower, feather on my walk, all the little treasures that I savor. This collection captures that same feeling of a new treasure discovered.

I love that the images really capture so many little details perfect for the holidays.. the baked goods, happy Santas, and gosh.. just check out that dressed up pooch!, will all have you smiling!

I love the beautiful prints in traditional red and green with pink, aqua and green accents.

The images have a bit of a retro feel making me think of the ornament boxes from my childhood. The piano makes me think of school plays and choir performances.

Everything you see is included in the kit EXCEPT for the card bases, solid cardstock, envelopes, and sequins.

Thanks for stopping by! Today I'm sharing a super cute card made with the Whittle Forest Reindeer Kit from Poppystamps!

There are three kits available in the store and what makes them unique is that they include SEVERAL coordinated dies as well as a mini stamp set all meant to work perfectly together!

To get acquainted with the I dies in the set I chose to mimic the scene on the cover of the packaging!

A simple Distress Oxide Ink background is perfect for these cute images. I left the bottom area white for a snowy scene. It also makes a very convenient place to stamp a sentiment! The kit has EIGHT sentiments to choose from so you're sure to find one that's right for you.

I cut all the images from colored cardstock, and added a bit of Distress Ink to them to add some dimension. Some of the images are adhered flat to the card base and others are popped up with adhesive foam tape.

I decided to add a "sun" with some stacked circles (not included in the kit) but something that most of us probably have on hand!
