Reverse Confetti September Insta Hop

It's the 8th of the month and if you're a fan of Reverse Confetti then you know that means it's Hop Day! We're doing things a little different this month. Today we're having an instagram hop. Today I'm sharing a card and tag combo with the Reverse Confetti Boo Day stamp set. Halloween is my favorite holiday and I always send cards and make treat bags for friends and family.

My card starts with a Distress Ink Panel in Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber, Carved Pumpkin, Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet. I adore this color combo for Halloween!

I stamped the sentiment from the set directly on the panel with Versamark ink. Images are colored with Copic Markers. Some of the images are adhered flat to the card while others are adhered with adhesive foam tape. This adds dimension and helps bring the images to life.

A matching tag is always sweet! This one starts with the Scallop Window Tag also inked in the same colors. Again the sentiment is stamped on the tag and images are adhered with foam tape.

A poofy bow is made with May Arts 5/8" textured ribbon topped with a button. I glued a half pearl over the button holes.

Glittery Halloween Card

Do you love Halloween? If that's a great big YES! Then I hope you checked out the new Poppystamps release dies in the store! They're absolutely SPOOK-tacular! And since this month's challenge is Anything Goes I sure hope you'll make whatever you like and play along this month! Linking up your design automatically enters you their $20 giveaway!

I don't usually make glittery cards because they are so hard to photograph, but I just couldn't resist on this one! I love the sparkle and it seems absolutely perfect for holiday cards. Of course the photos don't give this card the attention it deserves.. I really wish you could see it in person!

I started with a white cardstock A2 size card (4.25 x 5.5") and then cut a slightly smaller panel of pinkish purple from the Frosted Glitter Pad. Next I cut a slightly smaller panel of purple glitter paper from the same pad. Next I taped the Leafy Branch Oval Die in the center of the panel and die cut it. This creates an open frame that allows the bottom layer of color to show through.

Next I cut a sparkly "moon" from glitter paper with the Memory Box Circle Basics 1" diameter circle and adhered it inside the oval. You can also use a circle punch. Next I cut the frame from black cardstock and inserted it inside the opening. Due to it's uneven coated texture, glitter paper can be tricky to glue. I use Ranger Multi Matt Medium in a needle tip bottle and an acrylic stamp to hold things in place as they dry.

I inked some rosy cheeks on a sweet ghost from the Halloween Assemblage set and adhered it floating among the branches. A simple Boo Poe Script sentiment is also cut from glitter paper and adhered over the ghost.

This card is coated with sugar sweet sparkly goodness! I hope you like it and that you will join us for our challenge... with the them "Anything Goes" there's no excuse not to play! Together We Can Do Anything

After a long holiday weekend here in the US you might be having a little trouble getting going today! I'm sending you some positive vibes with the Pretty Little Studio Tales and Dreams Collection. The bright colors and whimsical florals are the perfect pick me up!

I'm having a hard time letting go of summer - the nights are getting colder here and I spy leaves on the lawn! So I'll hang on to all the flowers I can for as long as I can!

I love the positive messages you'll find throughout the collection too! The Stories & Tales Sticker Sheet has lots of rainbow colored images that fit inside labels and tabs perfectly... I used mine as a bold standout against the lime green background. I love the the rich fuchsia color matches the little dots on the printed paper perfectly.

I backed a frame with a journaling card and embellished it with lots of pretty florals and sparkly sequins. The vellum washi along the bottom along with a few sparkly sequins are the perfect finishing touch.
