This release has lots of awesome new products - craft dies like the new Layered Tulips for easy Spring greetings.

New Snail Trio die with coordinating Snailed It Sentiments, and Layered Mushroom Trio Stencil Set. The snail's shell doubles as a shaker that fits our Shaker Cover Slim Circles. You'll also love the new ink blending brushes in THREE different sizes that make stenciling small areas even easier.

Did you love the Designer Template from last release? This card was made with the Designer Template TWO. These dies take the fuss out of card layouts.

There's also three new "Tangled" designs. Each comes with a floral accent and again.. these double as shaker frames that work with our "Puffy" shaker domes.

A must have from this release is the new Personal Card die cut. Sometimes you want just a little gift card holder and these are the perfect size. The set includes different shaped dies for adding layers and personalizing the little cards. And guess what? There's a Personal Card Envelope die so no searching for an envelope to fit the little card.

Sunshine, Laughter and Hugs

Thanks for stopping by! Today I want to remind you to play along with the Poppystamps monthly challenge. This month we want you to add some pretty papers to your design. YES! That could be pattern paper, but it could also be any kind of specialty paper and wow there are so many to choose from! Just a few examples of specialty papers would be glitter, foil, flock, glossy, wood, or how about a handmade alcohol or stamped background?

I'm A BIG fan of pattern papers. I mean, who can resist picking up a pad of beautiful papers? I can't! I love to tear all the sheets out of the pad and start mixing and matching them. I usually will arrange them by color - matching a floral with a stripe or dot.. it's total eye candy for me.

This card is made with the Memory Box Garden Folly 6" pad. I started with the yellow and red plaid along the bottom of the card and focused on adding different yellow and red prints to the design. If you're new to pattern papers it's overwhelming, but try to mix busy prints with solid (one color) prints. Adding some solid cardstock helps break up patterns and using light or ledger paper helps create a focal point on your designs.

I used the Basic Ovals nested set to create a focal point for the cute Grand Whittle Pig. I attached the little guy with adhesive foam tape to add dimension. Now all that's left is embellishing the card.. adding a Grosgrain Bow die cut for "Some Pig" (any Charlotte's Web fans?).

The Potpourri Flowers die set doesn't come with foliage.. how to add some grass? How about some Whittle Palm Tree fronds? I love when I can stretch my dies and use them in different ways. How about that Sunshine? It's made with the Brilliant Rings circle die cuts in shades of yellow and orange stacked.

Playing along with the challenge is a great way to get ideas for different ways to use dies that you might already have.. and who knows? You might just be our lucky winner of a $20 gift card from the shop! I sure hope you'll join us! We love to see what you make!

Reverse Confetti March Blog Hop

It's the 8th of the month and you know what that means right? It's time to hop with Reverse Confetti! If you're following along you should have reached me from Jenny Colacicco's blog. If you've been following along with the Countdown to Confetti - March 5-7 you've seen peeks at all the stamp sets. Today I wanted to focus on some of the new Confetti Cuts craft dies.

I'm keeping this short because you've been hopping today and there's lots to see.. my first card features the new Big Sun and Easter Cover Panel. What a great new die set -- it includes a cover die, cute flowers, a window box and "Happy Easter" sentiment.

The Egg Carton Confetti cut is lots of fun too! I loaded mine with the brightest eggs possible. When I was a kid the darkest dyed egg were most coveted. We'd park our eggs in the cups of die for what seemed like HOURS to get the rich dark colors.

Finally the Eggstra Cover Panel makes lots of quick greeting cards for family and friends. I cut lots of scraps to get the rainbow colored eggs. The outline of the die has a beautiful stitched detail!
