Countdown to Confetti Day 3
The Bear Up There & Punny Party

Thanks for joining me in our Countdown to Confetti! It's Day 3 - and that means that the release will be in the store TOMORROW - May 8th! We'll be celebrating with a blog hop and sharing more projects made with the new release.
Today we're sharing two more new sets - The Bear Up There and Punny Party. This card was made with The Bear Up There!
Maybe you noticed something else new? YEP! The alphabet set I used to create a background is called Letter Cuts. I didn't cut the letters apart.. I left them connected and die cut a panel of white card stock. I used up scraps to cut the letters individually in rainbow colors and inserted them into the open windows of the panel.

I stamped a sentiment vertically along the edge of the die cut alphabet letters and attached one of the cute bears from the set with adhesive foam tape for a little dimension. You'll love these sweet bears!
The second set we're introducing today is called Punny Party. I'm going to introduce you to each of the fun animals in the set and their coordinating punny sentiment one at a time with these cute tags I made.
I used the Thanks Tag as a base for each of these four tags and created backgrounds with distress oxide and masks that I made using sticky notes.
The punny sentiments are perfect with the sweet images! I colored all of the images with Copic Markers to bring them to life.
The waves were easy to create by inking the tag first with light distress ink, and then using a paper mask to ink darker lines. A splatter of water and a darker shade of ink add more interest and depth to the background.
There are actually two elephants in this set - both holding balloons and facing each other. This is the larger (maybe Mom or Dad?) for the cute little guy.

All of the die cut images are attached with adhesive foam tape to add a little depth to the scene.

I tried to match the background colors with the subject - doesn't that background remind you of sherbet? YUM!

Want to see more projects made with these two sets? Here's a complete list of designers with projects to share today! But before you go... PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT. I'd sure love to see you win the prize that's up for grabs!

Jeanne Jachna (That's Me!)

I hope you'll stop by tomorrow when we'll be having a blog hop to celebrate the new release.

Jeanne, your tags are phunny-riffic! Oh my the elephant and the lion are my favorite. Maybe because I am old and I am not lion! So sweet and enjoyable for any age!
