TupeloDesignsLLC - Awesome Rainbow Shaker

Happy Friday! I hope you're having a great day. The sky is dark and grey here in Northwest Indiana - I think some showers are headed our way. That's ok.. because afterward I'm going to look for a rainbow!

Today I'm posting for TupeloDesignsLLC. They're my favorite store. They have lots of my favorite brands at great prices and shipping is always FREE (USA only - discounted rates international). They have so many brands in the store that you're sure to discover a new favorite.
I love a shaker card but they're often troublesome for me. I hate cutting strips of double sided adhesive foam tape into strips... it sticks all over my scissors (even though my scissors are supposed to be non stick). The Queen & Co Rainbow Shaker die makes it easy.
I used the Rainbow Shaker die to cut a piece of craft foam to insert between the die cut cover and the card base. It doesn't get easier than that.
The Awesome Word die is from Waffle Flower - because they'res always gold at the end of the rainbow right? I cut a few extra clouds from white card stock to embellish my design.
To create the background of bright colorful stripes, I applied packing tape to the back of a white card stock panel before cutting the Rainbow die. The packing tape prevents the die from cutting all the way through but you can still see the die cut lines clearly. I colored the stripes and cloud with Copic markers. The shaker openings are all filled with clear sequins so the Copic colors show through.
I love TupeloDesignsLLC because I can always find something new that's fun and interesting to me. I wonder what you'll discover! Click here to go shopping! It's a great way to treat yourself!
