Fusion Card Challenge - Hello Sunshine!

A new challenge begins today at Fusion Card Challenge!  Don't you just love the inspiration photo this week?  I love the contrast of the masculine grey pick up truck against the feminine pink and red floral.  If you're not loving that image, no worries!  You can work off the sketch.  Or if you're feeling clever you can fuse the two together.
I focused on the contrast and colors in the inspiration photo.  I started with a stamped woodgrain background - grey ink on grey paper.

Next I stamped a floral panel of Altenew Hello Sunshine Flowers with Memento Ink and colored them with Copic markers.  I used a stamping tool to get thine inked images nice and dark.
I trimmed the panel so the wood grain would show on both sides of the card and added a solid die cut border on both sides.  The stitched border die is from Pretty Pink Posh and it really frames the floral beautifully!

I liked the image in the center of the design (vs. the placement on the sketch).  I adhered it with some adhesive foam tape for dimension.   A few enamel dots add some shine too!

Now it's your turn!  Need a little more inspiration?  Hop on over to the Fusion Card Challenge where you'll find designs from the whole team!  We'd love to see your projects linked up there!
