CASE Study - Spring Greetings

Happy Thursday!   I hope you're having a great day.  We had a beautiful day yesterday - almost 80 degrees.  Slightly overcast, but I'm good with that!  It's nice walking around the neighborhood seeing all the blooming trees - ornamental pear and fruit trees.   I only have a few flowers in my yard so far - all bulbs - tulip, daffodil and hyacinth.

Today a new challenge begins at CASE Study. If you haven't heard the news our lovely muse this month is Wida Miller from Beachorado! I love her artistic style and witty musings. Look what she has to inspire us this week. I love that pretty die cut iris. What strikes you? Is it the frame, or the striped ribbon? If you look really close the strips inside the frame are washi. I thought that was brilliant. I have so many pretty washi patterns in a drawer that I hardly ever use. I was so happy to use some of my own. The roll I used for this one is from mt. I've been hoarding it because it was a bit pricey and is from Japan. Of course I am inspired by the spring flowers - and all the beautiful things that catch my eye during the day.
I stayed true to Wida's design and layout but switched up the colors, die cuts, and sentiment. I can't wait to see what you do with this one!

I bet you can't wait to see how the rest of the team CASE'd this one. How about paying them a visit? New team members have been contacted and winners announced on May 11th.

I zoomed in and out on this one Jeanne...love the detail with all the leaf dies...some punched out, some left in, some with only one punched out! Very cute and "Springy" card! I really like that big stitched frame...bet you are going to use that one a lot!
