STR#170 Something New!

I'm so happy to be the guest designer at The Shabby Tea Room  for the month of June!  I love their inspiration photos and all the shabby chic goodness you can only find there.  Boy did I ever luck out with this inspiration photo this week!  Some times I stare at the inspiration for days - this one came quick light lightning.  It's a gorgeous elegant cupcake + PLUS it is June = Wedding Card!!!  Perfect timing since Paper Sweeties just released some of the most gorgeous wedding themed stamps I've ever seen!  I'm smitten with this romantic image perfect for an invitation, thank you, anniversary or wedding congratulations.
For this sketch you are to use the colors in the photo (pink, blue and white) and add some flowers!  I stamped this elegant couple on white card stock and cropped them with an oval die cut.  Next I layered pink scallops and a fancy blue die under that  and then added lots of embellishments.  The different shades of pink in the paper roses really pop.  I found the cute little engagement ring charm in with the buttons from Dress It Up!  it even has a little "stone" in the setting.
I hope you will join me and the Shabby Girls at the Shabby Tea Room for your weekly does of Shabby Chic!  Have a great day!!

Jeanne
