Paper Sweeties - May Release Day 4

So have you been checking out the May Release of the Paper Sweeties? The stamps officially hit the Paper Sweeties Store yesterday.  Today to celebrate the new release the design team is mixing up the old with the new to show you how well the stamps work together.  I know so many of you like to create your own backgrounds - and I think the new addition of "Fun Shapes" really adds lots of opportunities to do just that.  I took the hexagon shape and stamped a background in bright colors.  It looked so fun and vibrant that I thought Jake would be a perfect topper.  I mean how cute is this?
While I was playing around with the shapes I also made this clean and simple card featuring the star shape from the same "Fun Shapes" set.  I topped them with buttons and added a few swirls of gems for a little sparkle.
I thought these stars were just so fun looking that they'd be perfect for a young man!  The sentiment is from the new "You are the Most Wonderful" set.
I hope you'll visit the rest of the design team and see what they created for this challenge.

If your a fan of the Paper Sweeties you will want to check out the monthly blog challenge at the Paper Sweeties site for your chance to win a few sets to add to your collection.  If you need to get your collection started you might want to check out my blogversary candy in the upper left hand corner of this blog (hint hint).

LOL...Sup? My kids hate it when I 80's slang talk them. I'm all like, "Word to me" and they're all like..."MOM! NO!!" I think I have to make this card...hee hee :) Love the CAS card too. Another amazing duo Jeanne :)
Peace out,
Lisa...hahahaha

I love them both!!! Your background is perfect on the first and the sentiment cracked me up! I certainly need more dude cards inu stash! I am always in a crunch for man cards cause I don't line making them. Only because I want to add ribbon and bows fluff! :-)

Your second is CAS perfection! Love them both to pieces!
