Simple Stories Simple Vintage Tis The Season

I'm sad to share that this is the last post that I'll share as a Simple Stories Design Team member. I've been on the team since 2017 - so I've had six great years of working with one of my favorite paper companies. No one does it like Simple Stories!

Every collection has patterned paper in two sizes - 12" and 6x8". There's also always lots of embellishments to choose from including chipboard, stickers, foam stickers, bits and pieces, journal bits and pieces, decorative brads, enamel dots, and washi too!

My cards today feature the Simple Vintage Tis The Season collection. It's really stunning with realistic florals and lots of ephemera pieces that include tickets, paper clips, round button letter sentiments, and collage pieces.

I love the papers that include plaid, florals, newsprint and colorful stripes that have me thinking of air mail letters from overseas.

The pretty pieces are sized to work perfectly together so creating scenes and focal points is easy. Pieces include florals, foliage, lanterns, birds and lots of big sentiments.

My secret to breaking up busy patterns is to add some solids to my designs. Simple Stories offers a Color Vibe solid paper in loads of colors. You're sure to find one to match the prints in every collection they offer.

Don't forget to sprinkle on some bling! I love the shiny enamel dots and decorative brads that are like candy for the eyes - some candy stripe washi never hurts either!
