Fusion Card Challenge Summer Drinks

Hi friends! I hope you're having a great day! A new challenge begins today at Fusion Card Challenge! It's a great place to play and you'll love this challenge because there are three ways to play.. you can play along with the sketch, be inspired by the photo, or FUSE them together and play with BOTH!

I'm typically drawn to the inspiration photo.. the inspiration photo this time is called Wine and Cheese. I spy a wood tray laid out with some tempting treats. There's even some greenery to embellish this elegant tray. If you're not loving the photo, don't forget.. there are three ways to play along!

1. The inspiration photo
2. The sketch
3. Fuse them all together (you clever one!)

It's your choice, but I sure hope that you choose to play!

Ok so how did I get from that photo to this bright colorful card? Let me explain. I'm not a big fan of neutrals and I'm not a wine drinker either. If it's cocktail hour I'm usually going for a mixed drink.. and since it's summer time.. I'm going with some frozen drinks to keep cool! YUM !!

My card started with the Pretty Pink Posh Summer Drinks set! I colored them with Copic markers in refreshing colors! Now.. how to make them the focus of my design...

I decided on the Stitched Filmstrips die cuts. I thought a little drink in each window would be perfect! I added blocks of colored cardstock (and used a few scraps at the same time) in coordinating colors inside each box. The drinks are adhered with adhesive foam tape.
