December is flying by! I still have lots to do including putting up the tree and baking cookies! I hope you're plans are coming together and you're getting it all done as stress free as possible. Today I'm playin along with Paper Crafting Uncles. The theme is Christmas and Happy New Year! There's still lots of time to play too so if you can sneak off to your crafty space your all clear to go!
My card is made with the Waffle Flower Poinsettia Blooms inked with Copic Markers. I love the clean line designs that are super easy to color. My favorite coloring technique is coloring each petal a different color - this means you don't have to be an expert at blending and I love the stained glass look. I layered the Poinsettias on Nesting Circle Frames in holiday colors of red and green. The florals are adhered with adhesive foam tape while the leaves are flat on the card base. This adds dimension to the design.
The stitched square and pierced scalloped edge give a fussy look to the stacked layers.
