Poppystamps Weekend Instahop!

My card - and Instagram giveaway - feature the new Poinsettia Background. I started by making a color block background from strips of green cardstock. Next I die cut the panel with the Poinsettia background.  I inserted a white detail die cut inside the color block panel and then adhered it to a sheet of clear plastic.

I adhered some solid pink and red cardstock on the card base and then foam tape to create the shaker. Finally I added some sequins and added the top of the card.
  

A simple Small Freestyle Merry Christmas sentiment is adhered over the center poinsettia. To help it stand out a bit I double cut it - once from gold foil and once from white cardstock. I adhered them together so that the gold would slightly peek from behind the white layer.
