I created a masterpiece for you today! I'm just playing! I made this card with the Spellbinders August 2020 Large Die of the Month. It includes a die for a 3D Easel and all of the art accessories too! Sweet right? Lots of possibilities here!
Actually this is the closest I've come to mixed media in a very long time. I die cut the frame with wood veneer. Inside the frame is a panel of watercolor that I "smooshed" with Distress Ink.
The little paint palate colors were inked with Copic Markers and topped with Glossy Accents to give them some shine. The little paint brushes are topped with NUVO Crystal Drops to give them a wet paint look.
The flowers and pot are cut from watercolor paper and are inked with distress ink. A few gems adds a little shine. I'll use this as a note card and write my own personal message inside.
The Spellbinders Large Die of the Month is a $40 value that sells for $27.50 Die cuts are my FAVORITE craft supply and I love the surprise of having a beautiful die set delivered to my front door every month. If you don't like a surprise, you can always order the kit after it's revealed on the fist of every month.
They also have a Small Die of the Month that costs $15 a month. This is another great find because it's valued at $27 and very affordable.
