Pretty Pink Posh Geraniums

Oh I just ADORE flowers! My husband surprised me with a flat of seedling geraniums last week and I couldn't wait to get them in the ground! I love the pop of red of the bright flowers! I think I planted mine too early for our Region because they're not looking so good right now. I think they got hit with a frost. Fingers crossed that with some TLC they pull through. 

I was inspired by these pretty flowers to make a card for Stamping Sensations Challenge. This month (MAY) they're looking for cards with flowers! 

My card starts with a Distress Ink background in Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn. I topped the inked panel with a Lattice Background die from Pretty Pink Posh. 

Now for the fun part.. arranging and adhering the Geranium flowers and leaves (from Pretty Pink Posh Geraniums stamp set). Most of the leaves are adhered flat to the background and the flowers are adhered with adhesive foam tape to add dimension.

The sentiment is from Everyday Greetings! I thought this card would be perfect for someone just as amazing as these bold florals!
