A new challenge begins today at Fusion Card Challenge! I love playing at Fusion because you can play with either the photo inspiration OR the sketch inspiration. If you're feeling clever you can FUSE the two together.
I'm always drawn to the inspiration photo. This time we have a large sentiment that takes up the whole photo over a die background. It brings to mind the 60's peace and love.
I started my card with a loose rainbow watercolor wash background. Next I went searching for a sentiment to lay over it. I found this pretty die from PinkFresh Studio in my stash. I wanted to provide a link - I'm disappointed to find it's retired now.
I cut the die from white card stock because the black didn't provide enough contrast for me. The edges looked unfinished so I added a pretty stitched frame from Poppystamps.
Are you ready to play? Maybe you need a little more inspiration? Check out designs from the rest of the team. Just click on their names below to jump to their blogs.
I hope I see you at Fusion Card Challenge! I cant wait to see what you make!
Time for me to go shopping at PinkFresh Studio. They have lots of beautiful dies and I think it's time to add some new ones to my collection!
