I love the Simple Stories Collection Kits. They’re a great investment because they’re reasonably priced and you can make so much with everything that’s included. All these cards were made with a $8 collection kit (you can find it for $7 at Scrapbook.com.
The kit includes sheets of 3x4” journaling cards that make great focal points for your cards. Since there are two sheets you can make LOTS of cards. I like to cut the duplicate card – fussy cutting images and layering them over the original to add dimension.
The sticker sheets are perfect for embellishing. I use my embossing buddy to powder the backs so they’re not sticky. I add dimension by adhering them with adhesive foam stickers.
And the papers are perfectly coordinated to mix and match. There are five different patterns in the collection kit. The sheets are 12 x 12” so there’s lots to play with.

These are wonderful and charming, Jeanne. I really like the vintage feel and how they make me think of spring! Thank you for sharing.
Hi Jeanne,
Thanks for all your help at the SSS MAKE AND TAKE event. Your cards are BEAUTIFUL the way you use thinlet cut-outs; something that I haven’t done much of. What brand inks do you use? The stamped images are so clean and crisp! I found one of your cards from the Friday/ Saturday SSS event in my bag when I got home. I picked it up to see if I could find the stampset you used and must not have put it back. I ashamed to say, I stole you beautiful work. I want to make it right by sending your card back to you. I don’t feel right using it. Please accept my apology. If you don’t mind providing an address so I can put your card in the mail, please email me at tinarichards@ymail.com.
What a treat these are! They're so cute and I love the papers!
