Challenge me a Christmas Card with Michelle Lupton!

I'm so excited to share that I'm Michelle Lupton's guest today for her "Challenge Me A Christmas Card event.   Michelle is on the Fusion Card Challenge design team with me, and she is amazing!!! You can check out her beautiful designs here on her blog Handmade by Michelle.

This is an annual event for Michelle. She asks friends to challenge her to make Christmas cards using different techniques or styles. So if you check out her blog you'll get lots of ideas and see different techniques!

I challenged Michelle to make a Christmas card featuring a scene. I'm playing along with my own card made with stamps from Pretty Pink Posh. 

I think when you make a card with a scene that the most important part is all the details. It's the little things that bring the characters to life. I started my card with a distress ink background and a snowy border cut from white card stock.

I placed a little cardinal on the snowman's head and another on the ground. If you look close you'll see the girl is feeding the birds. I used seed beads to look like bird food.

Everybody has rosy cheeks.. even the snowman! And snowflakes are falling from the sky!
