Our hostess this month is Marybeth from Marybeth's Time for Paper. If we were allowed to choose our family instead of being born into the ones we have I'd pick Marybeth as my sister. She's my voice of reason and a blessing in my life. She's also a California girl so this "summer fun" theme is close to home. I picture her poolside or walking the beach with a margarita in hand. Why do I think it's summer all year in California? Answer.. because I live in the Midwest.
Her kit was a fun mix of all things summer - no trixies. I tried to use as much as I could because I swear.. some of the pieces she cut by hand! How sweet is that?
This card is a tribute to ther lemon tree in her yard - someday I hope I can see it in person!

Jeanne! These are ALL fabulous! You give LIFE to paper! 5 framable beauties! Hugs!
Oh my goodness Jeanne, could your cards be any sweeter?? Not only are you the queen of layering but your cleverness far exceeds me. I love the layered sun with the palm tree and sea gulls. Such a great idea using something as simple as circles. Your bunny shaker card is so darling too! I love the colors you used for both the sequins and the frame. Beautifully blended and spritzed. All your cards are frame worthy!
Not sue where to start but to say you WOWED me again! For someone that makes so many cards how do you make a winner every time! So loving the blooms on the bold striped paper and that fun sun behind the palm tree! The shaker swing is adorable and I LOVE the lemon lime wreath on the green plaid stunning!
You are so sweet , I feel like we have been sisters for many years now ... girl! Hugs
Okay Okay, there is a ridiculous amount of fabulousness going on here Jeanne!! Your layered cards are always a treat. Love the sun, paim trees and gulls, so peaceful. Your sweet bunny shaker is darling and I love the fresh look of our lemon lime card!!
Looks like you had a lot of fun with this kit from your friend, Jeanne! I adore the bright and vibrant colors, the summery themes and the wonderful card designs. The one card with the 3 circles for the sun is very clever and the shaker with the Purple Onion bunny on a swing is so fun. Excellent work!
Jeanne, you always know just what to put together to make each element pop! Those stripes could not be a more perfect backdrop for those lovely fuchsia, I want to lie on your beach, and I LOVE the splashes of color you've added to Marybeth's bunny-swinging frame!

I LOVE your bright and cheerful collection of cards, Jeanne! Each one is special, but I may be partial to your California Summer card! beautiful and bright, and it looks amazing!
Oh, Jeanne, these are all so fabulous! LOVE all the wonderful colors, bright and cheerful and perfect for summer! Love how you added gulls to your great CAS design. And bunny on the sunshiny design is even more adorable as a shaker. The pink & white stripes are so pretty with the fuchsia and I love the cool citrusy design!
Oh my goodness as usual your photos and cards knocked my socks off! So many lovely pretties and why didn't I think to do that moments! All the little additions you added make your cards so incredibly unique--lots of wows!
Bright, vibrant and so much fun, Jeanne ... every one! I'm especially taken with the fuchsia, your colouring is stunning ... and with the fresh zestiness of the 'lemon tree', it's positively mouthwatering! Anita :)
