Fusion Card Challenge - Snappy Birthday!

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I hope you're having a great day! Lots going on here - summer is in full swing ! I hope you're making the most of the warm weather. It took me years to realize that I need to appreciate the warm weather while it's here. It will be gone before I know it!

A new challenge begins today at Fusion Card Challenge. This one was a bit tricky for me... the colorful painted crates loaded with books didn't really speak to me. I decided to look at it in a different way - as a color challenge.

If the photo isn't speaking to you that's ok.. just work with the sketch. But honestly.. I thought the sketch was a little tricky this time too LOL! I'm not doing a good job convincing you to play am I?

My underwater scene takes advantage of the colors in the photo.. AND I followed the sketch too. The crabs from Reverse Confetti

Aren't these little guys adorable? I stamped them in orange and red and gave them fun google eyes. They're attached with adhesive foam tape to give them some dimension.

The watercolor background was made with the distress ink refills (Blueprint and Peacock Feathers). I just put a little drop on my glass craft sheet, add water and paint with them. 

This one is for my DH - I call him my little crab because he's grumpy! I know this card will make him smile.
