Spellbinder's Shapeabilties - First Adventure

Today I'm playing along at CASology - the cue word this week is THRILL.  A thrill is the sudden feeling of excitement or pleasure.   My card today features a child's discovery.  I don't know if it was more thrilling for my kids to discover something, or for me to share in their delight and think to myself "my goodness.. my child is amazing!"  It truly is a wonderful world with little thrills and pleasures to be found everywhere - every single day.  All you need to do is look!
Spellbinders was one of the first companies I fell in love with when I started crafting several years ago. Their nested window dies were innovative and exactly what I was looking for - an easy way to cut stamped images. The quality has always been excellent and it still is today.  But as more companies have their own coordinating dies I've rediscovered Spellbinders.  They're still creating innovative new designs that are unique and beautiful.

You can see the latest release here. They have an amazing collection of silhouette dies created by Sharyn Sowell perfect for celebrating precious moments like baby's first birthday, playtime, tea party with teddy, and this one called First Adventure.

I created a simple distress ink background for this clean die cut image cut from white card stock. I love this image of a child discovering the little bird on the foliage, it brings back many heartfelt memories.

If you haven't checked out Spellbinders in a while it's time to give them another look!
