Reverse Confetti September Sketch For You To Try
Talk Nerdy To Me

Fall is in the air!  Can you believe it's September!  There's lots of great new monthly challenges that start today. Here's the latest Reverse Confetti Sketch For You To Try!   I love playing along with sketch challenges!  They're sort of a recipe for making your card!

I feel like sometimes the passing months get away from me so I like to use the monthly challenge as a way to celebrate each month.  The theme of my card for September is "Back to School".

I started with a bright background of red and yellow.   I used paper from two different Reverse Confetti 6" pads - the yellow is from Pattern Play, and the Red is from Very Merry.

I stacked several rectangles from the All Framed Up Confetti Cuts to create a focal point for the apples for teacher.  I stamped one in black to look like a chalkboard.
The Worm Wishes set includes the pencil, small apple, worm and sentiment for my card.  I cut the sentiment with the Posted Notes Confetti Cuts and added it under the frames.

I added glossy accents to the glasses on the worm so they are thick and shine like the real thing.  Every one wants a gold star for a job well done so Seeing Stars Confetti Cuts make the perfect embellishment.
Want to play along?  You have the whole month to play and you can always find the latest challenge by going to the Reverse Confetti blog and clicking on the challenge badge in the right margin.  The design team has samples to help you get started!  I hope I see you there!
