Summer is flying isn't it? The beginning of August always reminds me that Summer doesn't last forever. It reminds me to slow down and enjoy the season because it's going to be gone fast! Time to spend some time with the kiddos before they go back to school, catch a movie or hit the beach!
The beginning of a new month always means some new challenges for you to play too! My favorites are always a sketch because it takes lots of the guess work out of what to make. You just fill in the different shaped images with your favorite papers and stamps. The best part of all is that you have lots of time to play!

I wanted to make a birthday card for a princess so I reached for the Magical Day stamp set!
I created a background of pink papers from the Under The Umbrella and Pattern Play paper Pads.
I added a border of XOXO Hearts and added the cut outs to the top left margin of the card. There are accents of gold throughout like the zig zag circle Confetti Cut from Flowers For Mom, and some gold sequins.
