Fusion Card Challenge - 4th of July Jars

I hope you and your family are having a terrific summer!  It seems like the month is just flying by!  We've been grilling out almost every day!  I love having a house full and any excuse is game for me to invite folks over for a while.  Mr. J. takes over the grill and I'm the bartender.  I try to keep it simple with a pitcher of something.. usually margaritas or pina coladas.  It's a real treat in the hot weather!

A new challenge begins today at Fusion Card Challenge!  You can work with the sketch OR the inspiration photo. If you're feeling clever you can fuse them both together.    Of course I was smitten with the Red White and Blue USA theme!
I went straight for the Simple Stories All American 12" paper pack.  It comes complete with pattern paper, 12 x 12" sheets you can cut into journaling cards and a sticker sheet.
I attached some of the stickers directly on the pattern paper like the "4th of july" sentiment, others I attached with adhesive foam tape.  To do this I removed the sticker from the sticker sheet.   Next I adhered foam sticker squares.  Make sure to keep the backing on the foam sticker square.  Next I apply powder from my embossing buddy (you can use baby powder too) to make the sticker easy to work with.
The starts and stripes circle, word banners and rockets are all separate stickers.  The ledger paper with the balloons is a cut apart journaling card.

I added a few red and blue enamel dots for some shine!

Want to see more designs from the Fusion Card Challenge team?  I know they'll knock you're socks off!  You can see them (and play along with the challenge) here at Fusion Card Challenge
