Are you hopping with us today? On the 17th of every Month CAS-ual Fridays has a Calling ALl Sistahs blog hop to promote breast cancer awareness and remind you to make sure you're doing your monthly checks and annual mammograms!
1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop invasive breast cancer in her lifetime. Early detection is so important for treatment! We want all the women in our lives to know how important they are to us and how much we want them to live strong healthy lives.
CAS-ual Fridays owner Michele is a survivor. She designed a line of stamps to provide support and to promote awareness. Profits from the sale of products in the "Calling All Sistahs" campaign are donated to breast cancer
If you're following along on the hop you should have reached me from the uber talented Bonnie Sharp's blog. If you'd like to start from the beginning and get all the details you can start here at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps
I started with a row of ombre pink Lovely Links Fri-Dies. I was tempted to take a photo of all the pretty die cut hearts I have now in 4 shades of pink. I'm seeing a shaker for next month! LOL!! I couldn't throw them away so I bagged them for another project.
The sentiment is from the Hope Ribbon stamp set. I completed the "Never Give Up Hope" Sentiment with the Hope word Fri Die.
The focal point of my card is the sentiment on a Tag Buddies tag (the set has three different sized tags) layered on the Ruffled Ribbon Fri Die. A wrap of twine holds everything together.
The finishing touch was a few paper flowers attached with a hot glue gun. I love the pink and gold together.
Ready to see more beautiful designs from the Sistah's team? The next stop on this hop is Jennifer Ingle!
Here's a complete list of all the designers with projects to share today!
