Are you excited about the newest release at CAS-ual Fridays? We've got lots of beautiful things to share this week - 5 New stamp sets and some new dies too. I'm not allowed to "spill the beans" so you're just going to have to stay tuned this week to see the release as it unfolds. Michele is sharing projects from all the design team members and offering a $15 gift certificate all 5 days - so make sure you stop by her blog to enter to win.
Today we're showing peeks of Posies! Yes! Pretty blooms for you! YES! There is a set of matching dies to make these easy to cut out perfectly every time.
I wanted to do something a little different for the second one - I was going for a peek a boo look. First I die cut two of the dies from a panel of card stock. Next I layered this over another sheet of card stock and then stamped the flowers inside the holes. Then I stamped all the other flowers and leaves on the top die cut piece.
Yes there was a little masking involved, but instead of fussy cutting a mask I used the die cut pieces as masks. I colored up the flowers with Copics on this one too.
A sprinkle of light blue sequins was the finishing touch! Bright and cheery right?
Here's a list of designers with projects to share today!
