Maybe you will find this funny.. I almost didn't try out for the design team because I thought CAS in CAS-ual Friday's meant that I had to be "Clean and Simple". Michele assures me that all styles are welcome so you're sure to find a style that suits you just find there!
I couldn't wait to start playing with some of my goodies from CAS-ual Fridays! Since I love layers and "stacking it on" there are lots of goodies on this card.
I think you are wonderful for stopping by today to say hi - so this one is for you. The sentiment is from the Lovely Greetings Stamp Set. I used two different die sets for my layered sentiment - Tag Buddies is the bottom tag, and the top tag with the punched lacy bottom is from the Scallop Tag Set.
Peeking out from under the tag are a few cuts from the Casual Trees Set, and a few flowers from Four Petals. I shaped the flowers with a ball stylus and added a pear center. Can't find the perfect color pearl? Just color a plain white one with an alcohol marker.
Before I added the tag to the card base with adhesive foam tape I wrapped twine around the card a few times. This helps ground the tag so it doesn't look like its floating.
I like adding buttons or enamel dots under raised items to show off the dimension. I love the pops of turquoise with the red on this one!
