Merry Mistletoe

I'm posting at Pretty Little Studio today with a Thursday Tip! Melissa, the owner of Pretty Little Studio has always had great packaging - each item a beautiful little treat to open! I've always had a hard time letting go of the packaging because they're just too nice to throw away - ledger and designer prints on heavy card stock. But if you haven't purchased from the newest releases you might not know that she's made the packaging even better! Some of them include images like the mistletoe branch I'm using on my design today !
I fussy cut the mistletoe branch from The Be Merry 3x4" Pocket cards, and placed it on the packaging from the Silly Betty Bookmark Tags. I love the little numbers counting the rows and thought they would tie in with my Christmas themed card - counting down the days til Christmas.
I wrapped twine around the ledger card finishing it with a bow and topping it with a Merry Berry Flair! It shines like candy!
Isn't that Gold Foil Lace Doily so elegant? They're large - 5" diameter - so I usually cut them down for cards - using only parts and saving the rest for another project. I stamped my sentiment on Die Cut Navigator Note Flags - they come in lots of colors and are pre cut - perfect for any of the Pretty Little Studio paper collections.
I used papers from three collections for this layout. It's easy to mix and match the colors and patterns. The stripes, mistletoe print and music transparency are from the Merry and Bright collection. The clear music is from Holiday Cheer , and the plaid is from Jingle Bells.

So pretty right? I hope you have a great day!
