This is the 5th year that Tracey McNeely is inspiring us with 25 Days of Christmas Tags! She's got lots of good things in store including a vendor a day sponsoring prizes for you to win. Today Serendipity Stamps is sponsoring the event! I hope you will leave a comment on Tracey's blog to enter to win a $20 Gift Certificate for Serendipity Stamps. Perhaps you will be inspired to make a few tags of your own to link up for another chance to win!
I created a color block card panel from pink card stock and topped it with a double cut angel die. This pretty Angel is brand new from Serendipity and she's absolutely gorgeous in gold. I actually double cut the angel - addling a hint of purple.
Of course I added a bit more bling - pretty sequins and some fun striped twine. Pink and Purple at Christmas always remind me an Advent wreath. I used to love watching them get lit, one at a time, counting down the weeks to Christmas!
Supplies:

This is lovely, Jeanne! the color block pinks really make that beautiful gold angel stand out!
Very pretty tag! This would also look lovely as an ornament on a flocked tree.
Gorgeous tag...love that you used pink.
Wow, the pink blocks make such a wonderful background for your lovely angel! Love the touches of purple!

Very pretty Jeanne. Love the pink & gold!
Several Willow Tree angels live at our place, as does a special one I purchased in a long ago trip to Gibraltar, and those are but a few...I love angels. I love your tag. Essence of Christmas in stunning simplicity...
