I'm learning to take advantage of the little moments. I'm really enjoying sitting outside with DH while he cooks. I put out a big handful of peanuts and love watching the Blue Jays and Woodpeckers swoop down to grab one. Whatever they don't eat is left for the chipmunks - Miss Moriko isn't too happy about that. Here's a pic of one of the Blue Jays. There are 5!!! I've never seen so many together at one time and gosh... I wish you could hear the racket they make!! Dh is trying to get a photo of the hummingbirds that love the trumpet vine and hibiscus in the yard. So more nature photos coming soon!
I didn't want to make a card with a clock on it so I decided on a sweet baby card (or two) - because life is precious. These were really hard to photograph because the colors are so light - another reason I love bold bright colors! LOL!
After I stamped the image and added the die cut they still looked a little "empty" so I scored a few lines along the bottom to define the space and make them look a little more formal.
I love that teddy image! I hope you find a little time to play along this week too! You can see the other linked up projects and get the details here at CASology!
Finished Size 4.25 x 5.5"
Stamp: Serendipity Stamps Teddy Bear
Die: Serendipity Stamps Baby
Ink: Impress Fresh Ink

Jeanne, your post is as beautiful as your cards! How true, time is precious! I love both baby cards, boy and girl colors are both light and airy and sweet...and the embossed line is perfect. Thanks for joining us at CASology!
Oh Jeanne... this is so perfectly CAS! A very good example of how less is definitely more!
Love this!
Thanks for joining us at CASology... ( and for your kind comment on my blog... it made me smile!)
Jeanne - you are so clever! The scored lines at the bottom are the perfect touch for your CAS cards. That teddy bear is so cute and the perfect backdrop for the pretty die. I have one more week with my "baby" before she heads back to college. Time with my baby - precious!
Wow, Jeanne--when you go CAS, you go all the way. These cards are both so sweet, precious and perfect. I just love how you stamped those bears in such soft and light colors.
Two beautiful CAS cards Jeanne, you are so right "Babies" are so precious x.
Love your teddy image and soft colour tones, perfect touch those score lines.
Hugs Pam x
A touching, heart-warming post, Jeanne. Nothing is more precious than time, especially spending it with those we love, which is what I'm doing over the next few days: hanging out with my mom, my niece, my nephew and the rest of my family! Who knows what shenanigans we'll get into! Your photo of the blue jay: stunning! Your baby cards: oh my! Absolutely gorgeous; soft, delicate, pretty. New parents will treasure these! Your post has me smiling, my friend!
Hugs~c
Two fabulous and sweet cards...just love them. And your photo of the bird is amazing!
These are gorgeous, Jeanne - the angled die cuts and scored lines make such an impact. Love them! Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!
And you're so very right about how precious time is and the older I get the faster it seems to fly by.
Your bluejay picture is fantastic - looking forward to more nature pics! :)
These are CAS perfection Jeanne, and I hear you loud and clear about time being precious. I have those moments with my own kids, and I need to get better at making the most of those precious, yet fleeting moments, while they are young and still want to know me!! I absolutely LOVE the stamp you have chosen for a sweet baby. It too is precious. You can almost feel the soft texture of the bear's fur. I love how detailed it is, yet understated. Thanks for adding to my Wishlist, Jeanne, and as always, thanks so much for joining us at CASology this week!
