Spellbinders October 2020 Card Kit of the Month

I'm really loving the Spellbinders Club Kits! They're each a great value because they're sold for less than what they would sell for if you bought all the items separately. I love that it's delivered to my front door and that all the items are selected to coordinate. Here's a peek at the October 2020 kit!

The kit includes EVERYTHING from the die cut pieces, stickers, and pattern paper to the card bases, envelopes, double sided adhesive and sequins. You'll also receive solid card stock, a stamp set AND a die set. 

My favorite item in this kit is the Santa die you see on the above card. This die is included in the kit and you'll be using it for years. The legs on Santa swing making him even more fun! 

This month's kit is all about CHRISTMAS! You'll love the sweet little images - elves, snowmen, ornaments, packages, poinsettias, holly, pine trees and so much more!

The papers are so pretty too! The prints include snowflakes, stripes, chevrons, plaids and snowman prints. The kit includes a 6" square pack with two sheets of each of the prints.

I had fun arranging the images in scenes and collages. The kit includes sentiments and even some red sequins so you can embellish to your hearts delight!

Lots of the papers and die cuts have gold foil embellishments so all your holiday cards will have some shine. The gold also give a rich expensive look to your designs. 

The kit even includes some tags, die cut scallop borders and stickers. Everything you see on my cards was included in the kit. The kit does include white envelopes - I added the colorful envelopes you see in the photos to complement the images and photograph them so you can get a good look.

The Spellbinders Card Making Kit is $38.50 a month. You can subscribe and receive a surprise in the mail every month, or you can wait until the first of the month when the kit is revealed. I haven't been disappointed yet.

Batty for You!

Hello my 'Fetti Friends! I am absolutely batty about Halloween! It's really my favorite holiday. As a child it was always magical to dress up, stay out past dark, and YES! the treats too!

I always start my cards by arranging the images on a piece of clear plastic the same size as my card base. This makes it easy to arrange the different elements before I commit and adhere them in place. It's also easy to pick up the entire design and swap out different backgrounds until I find one I'm smitten with. 

I colored images from the LANTERNS stamp set and arranged them on the CIRCLE RAYS Confetti Cuts. I used Confetti Colors Cardstock in SUNSHINE and STONE. 

I added bats from SPOOKTACULAR with adhesive foam tape to give them the appearance of flight.

For lots of drama I adhered the completed design on a DIAGONAL SCALLOPS panel cut from CLOUD WHITE card stock and layered over LEAD cardstock. 

I love that you can mix and match different stamp sets and personalize them for your favorite occasions!

Thanksgiving Fall Foliage

Don't you just LOVE Autumn? I'm lucky to live in the midwest where every season has it's own particular beauties. Autumn brings crisp air and a bounty of color in the beautiful foliage. It's definitely worth a walk in the wood or even a ride in the car!

One of my favorite trips this time of year is to the farmers market. I love exploring the rows of pumpkins, corn stalks, chrysanthemums and APPLES! There are serious perks to living in Indiana!

The gorgeous Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Foliage is cut from orange and yellow shades of card stock and layered over a panel that has been inked with distress ink.

The Happy Thanksgiving Script die is cut from white card stock and layered over the die cut Stitched Foliage. 

A stamped sentiment from Simple Sentiments is added directly on the distress ink panel and a scatter of Raspberry Jewels adds some sparkle and shine.
