Best of Luck

Sending you lots of luck today (and always) as we approach St. Patrick's Day! I had fun mixing different elements to create this fun card that's sure to have you smiling!

I started with the February Mug that I inked with Copic markers. The clean line design makes this cute clover embellished mug easy to color with any media. I decided it would look super cute with a surprise - a Cute Peeker inside the mug. But which one to choose?

I decided on the Unicorn because if you follow the rainbow it's supposed to lead you to a pot of gold! I added some colorful stripes to my design to replicate a rainbow and added a mix of sparkly gems to make this magical!

That Buffalo Check background is a "Foilable" sheet that I foiled with Tinsel Green Cheerfoil. I'm new to laminated foiling and originally thought I'd have to leave the background white and foil.. but thought I'd be daring and try to add some Twisted Citron Ranger Distress Ink. I was hesitant because when I foil with another brand, and then use a brush inker, much of the foil comes off my design. That doesn't happen with Cheerfoil.. all the foil stays in place perfectly so you are free to add all the ink blending you like.

I wish you could see this one in person! It's shiny, sparkly and oh so super cute! I hope you're smiling! Hugs to you! I hope you find some time to make today!

Waffle Flower March Release Day 3

I hope you're having a great day! A new Waffle Flower release is just around the corner. If you love the thought of a very berry fresh spring we've got you covered!

Speaking of "covered" this card features two of the new A2 panel / cover dies. The top one is called "Sweet Lattice Panel" and the one peeking through the die cut openings is a texture die called "Sweet Plaid Texture". I stacked them to add some interest to my design.

The yummy strawberries are actually stenciled and then die cut. The stencil and die set cuts and colors four berries at once making them come together really quick and easy! I added some foliage from the "Strawberries' die set.

The sentiment is from the new set called "Sweet Lattice Sentiments" that are designed to fit perfectly on the "faux tag" that's built into the cover panel. I added some layered hearts underneath that coordinated well with the sentiment.

Some new glossy enamel dots add just the right amount of sugar to these sweet berries.

I hope you stop by tomorrow when we'll be celebrating the release becoming available with an Instahop with lots of giveaways! See you then!
