You're Just Dandy!

Today I'm playing at the Four Seasons Challenge where this time anything goes as long as it's SUMMER related! Well I don't know about you.. but it's been a while since I've seen these in the lawn! I often wonder why such bright beautiful yellow flowers are considered weeds. For most of us, it's the very first flower that we present to our Mom's! Something we picked ourselves!

I'm celebrating the beauty of the Dandelion with this set from Pretty Pink Posh. I love their bright bold color and of course you know I'm going to blow on the dried out heads and send my wishes to the winds!

I colored mine with Copic markers and added flat back pearls for flower centers. The background in green is the new Checkered Pierced Plate. I added s strip of lighter green through the center to add some interest and dimension.

The Eyelet Oval makes the perfect focal point. I love the lacy look ! I scattered a few seeds so you can imagine them blowing in the wind. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.
