Planter Friends

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you had a great weekend! Today I'm playing along at Critter Crazy Challenge Blog where they always want your card to have a critter as the focus of your design.

My card features the Planter Friends stamp set from Pink & Main. I tried to include as many of the images from the stamp set as I could on this design, but I still missed a few!

The background is a Foilable panel called Spring Leaves. This is a multi pack with several different patterns. They're easy to foil using the Minc hot foil machine and the coverage is PERFECTION. No missed spots! I used the Satin Sage Cheerfoil because the stain flat finish photographs easier than the shiny foils.

A Zig Zag Rectangle die makes a focal point for all the planters. I used a rectangle to cut the center from the Zig Zag Rectangle to create a frame. I added vellum to the inside of the frame to soften the foil finish that is peeking through.

The finishing touch was a sprinkle of gold gems and a simple sentiment along the bottom of the frame.
