Today I'm playing along at Crazy is Our Fame, Stencils Are Our Game where the January challenge is Hello/Winter. You're to use the word "hello" on the card and/or make a winter design.. .and of course.. Use a Stencil! This snowman design is entirely stenciled using the Waffle Flower Oversized Snowman. Since most of the card remains white you just ink the background, earmuffs, scarf and facial features.
To add a pattern to the scarf I inked the scarf in red, and then added a snowflake pattern stencil over scarf stencil. I inked in a darker shade so it is subtle like a watermark.

The rosy cheeks were added with a dauber dipped in Spun Sugar Distress Ink.
The sweet sentiment is from the Snow Cheer stamp set. I love the script font that looks handwritten.Hugs to you and STAY WARM!
