Sidewalk Chalk Flowers

Have you seen the new July Release at Papertrey Ink? They've recreated Summer with stamps and dies ready to get inky! The flowers, beach scenes, sneakers and even new sand piper bird die cut will have you smiling.

This floral set is called SIDE WALK CHALK. The loose hand drawn look to the designs is reminiscent of days working though all the colors in the chalk bucket on the sidewalk in front of our house.

To really pack in the color I stamped the images on colored paper before cutting them out. If you haven't tried Papertrey Ink smooth cardstock colors then you're really missing out. They're my favorite brand of paper - with LOTS of colors to choose from at a very reasonable price!

My background is a distress ink panel in squeezed lemonade, dried marigolds and spun sugar. I topped the inky panel with a crisp Bold Borders Flair frame die (it comes with a word die too!). Finally I arranged the images on the panel for a little eye candy today!
