Spring is Here (Almost!)

Winter is still going strong in my part of the world. I did see a flock of Robins in front of the house a few days ago.. that's a good sign that Spring is on it's way. They don't stick around here in the Midwest for the Winter so I know they're heading back from their Southern vacationing.

I love a sketch challenge and today I'm playing along with Sketch Saturday. Look at this clean design they have for us! 

I decided to use the sketch as a backdrop for some beautiful spring Crocus Flowers from Pretty Pink Posh.

I inked up a white panel with Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed Distress Ink, stamped the sentiment with Versafine Ink and then cut the panel with the Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Borders die. I cut the border a second time with white card stock and stacked them If you look close you can see the double border.

The Crocus Flowers were inked with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic Markers. Sparkly Lemon Drop Jewels make this card even sunnier.
