Sending Good Vibes

I hope your week is off to a good start. DH is working nights so we've been spending our mornings together - walking Miss Moriko, going to the gym and catching an early meal together. I'm having trouble adjusting to the routine, and when I think I have it figured out he'll be back on days right? LOL! That's ok.. just trying to enjoy the now, and the time that we do have together!

While he was catching a nap I decided to play at Just Add Ink. They have a great sketch to play along with. Cut it Up challenge has a tag challenge going on this week which fits in with the sketch since I used a tag! And third entry is a charm.. Simply Create Too is looking for designs with No Pattern Paper.

I used a piece of sticky tape to block off half my card and ink up the top with Ranger Distress Milled Lavender. Next I blocked off the bottom half of the card and inked it with Shaded Lilac.

I added a Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Border in white card stock to separate the two colors.

I stamped the sentiment above the border, and then added a Scallop Square Tag to represent the square in the sketch. I adhered the sweet dragon flies colored with Copic coordinating colors with adhesive foam tape to add some dimension.

The finishing touch are jewels from Pretty Pink Posh. They're my favorite embellishment lately - so sparkly and a great value - a little pack hold ALOT of jewels!
