The 12 Kits of Occasions - My Little Chickadee

It's the last day of the month and you know what that means right? It's time for The 12 Kits of Occasions! The 12 Kits of Occasions is a group of 12 friends who all love to paper craft. Every month we take turns making a kit for the rest of the group. We all receive the same kit with the same items. On the last day of the month we reveal what we each made with the kit. It's fun to see how we used the product in different ways. Sometimes the projects are similar and sometimes they are very different.

Our hostess with the mostest this time is Lisa Elton from My Paper Tales! You might also know Lisa from her design team work at Pretty Pink Posh or the Precious Remembrance Shop! Lisa has a beautiful creative style. She always adds the perfect embellishments - embossing or pretty sequins, lace or glitter!
The theme of the kit is My Little Chickadee. Goodies inside included papers from October Afternoon; stamped images from Impression Obsession; wood veneer birds; and dies from Pretty Pink Posh. The trixie for me this time were the Theresa Collins punched feathers. I stacked mine up in a pile to punch - I wanted to thread a string through them... anyway.. long story short.. they didn't cut so well so you won't see any here! :(
I made 5 cards with the kit so here goes...
Want to see more? Head on over to The 12 Kits of Occasions blog where you'll find a sample from each of the team members.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

All cards finished size 4.25 x 5.5"

Stamps | Impression Obsession My Little Chickadee, Hang In There, Spring Bird House Working, Floral Birdcage, Forget Me Nots, Lovely Flower Stems, Floral 2, Lush Lilacs, Little Nest | Past Time Stamps Choirboy

Jeanne, you think of the most fun things to do with our Kits! LOve the little circles on your Cheering Up card - and I'm so happy to say I saved a few of those images! Don't you miss our Leftovers month?

I just knew you would work your layering major on your cards! Thanks for rocking my kit Jeanne, these are all so pretty! The circles and buttons on your first card are cute and I love the birdhouse and nest definition card so much! Your lilacs are beautifully colored too. Like I said, all so pretty!

I'm always in awe of how you layer up papers so perfectly. I'm having a bit of paper-layering envy here. ;0) Seriously though, your cards are always my favorites! Have a happy day today!

You are the queen of layering! I always know that you are going to layer everything in the kit and them some and do it so effortlessly!! I awe because as hard as I try it never seems to work out like your do. Love all of your creations and your colouring is perfect, especially the way you coloured the trunk! Fabulous, Jeanne! I'm always excited to see how you design with our kits. No one can layer and combine elements quite like you! Love the die cut circles with the little chickadee sitting on one. Each design is so sweet. And your lilacs with the die cut sentiment is especially charming. Any orioles in your area yet? Ours just returned so I had to hurry to the store for grape jelly. Hope you are having a joyous Spring!!
